Street Style: Turtle Wisdom

"Try to be like the turtle, at ease in your own shell." -Bill Copeland

When it comes to being comfortable in your own shell, Matt of The Be Kind Project has got it. His company's missions is to inspire social and environmental kindness through consciously crafted apparel.

Matt's positive energy attracts people who also believe that simple acts of kindness :: whether to other people or the environment :: can generate huge results in making the world a better place.

Every June brings World Sea Turtle Day, a time to remember the need to protect our turtle friends. Surprisingly, 6 out of the 7 sea turtle species are listed as endangered or threatened on the Endangered Species Act. For more on how we can protect these turtle guys, check out Oceana's roundup.
