Springtime Dream: Aquamarine

By Oreeko

The color turquoise, aquamarine, mint, baby blue or whatever name you fancy was super popular a couple of years ago, everything from fashion to home decor. Thankfully this color trend has cooled down a bit but I still love the idea of owning some pieces with this color.

In my recent eco looks, I have strongly opposed matching every element in a look with the same color but rules need to be broken especially when the clothes and accessories are so deliciously cute.

After consulting an eco directory, I found these eco, organic, ethical, fair trade fashion & accessories brands that offer exactly what I was looking for.

{SHINE DRESS} by Royal Caballito – Made by 100% Egyptian Cotton certified by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100*. Also sold by Helpsy.

{FLAMINGO BAG} by GUNAS – Ethical, vegan and cruelty-free bag, free of PVC and other plasticizers. Also sold by Modavanti.

{Pur Lash Volumizing Mascara Black Pearl} by Rejuva Minerals – Vegan, organic, soy-free, paraben free mascara.

{Large Feather Ring} by Cred Jewellery – Recycled silver ring.

{Gaby Peep Toe in Sea Blue} by The Root Collective – Fair Trade shoes made in Guatemala.

Ciao for now :)

I suffered from the “as-bad-as-it-gets” level of endometriosis, a very debilitating illness. Even after undergoing 7 surgeries to supposedly ‘cure’ the problem, things weren’t good. When I changed lifestyle by eating organic food, becoming a vegetarian & reducing daily sources of hidden harmful chemicals, life started getting much better and a new universe opened up. Oreeko is my way of bringing my experiences to benefit others. When I’m not plugging Oreeko or fantasizing about my favorite organic veggie burger, I love exploring recent eco fashion trends and I’m always on the lookout for the next amazing place to get lost in.
