Sweet Pumpkin Smoothie

Citrus and fruits are now having to share the morning spotlight with pumpkin.

Vegan adaptation from the original recipe by Dr. Wendy Bazilian, The SuperFoodsRx Diet (Rodale)

Servings: 1
Volume: 1-1/2 cups
Prep Time: 3 minutes


3/4 cup soymilk or 1% milk
1/2 cup fresh pumpkin puree (or canned pumpkin)
1/4 cup non-dairy yogurt
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1-1/2 tablespoons agave
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 ice cubes


Place all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Adjust thickness with more or less ice cubes or water.
