Spring Home Interiors: Ethical + Chic

I am absolutely loving the pop of geometric patterns and soft colours that seem to be cropping up in every interiors magazine at the moment. It’s an easy way to create a design-led focus to any room, the warm colours are a definite nod to Spring, which is well and truly with us…even if the weather reports don’t seem to support that!

For this month’s ethical challenge we asked our stylists to get together and pick out their top picks from our ethical homewares collection to brighten up an existing living space for our Spring Edit.

Geometrics are everywhere and a great trend for 2016 as it’s an easy way to add a design-led focus to any room. The hand-drawn element of the ‘Falling into Place‘ wall art (above) has a neo-grunge feel but with the soft Spring colours it’s an ideal art piece for lifting a blank wall. Alternatively, if it’s your desk space or coffee table you’re looking at refreshing, accessories such as the 9ct gold Tetrahedron Mug or one of our geometric notepads are subtle touches to introduce the trend to your home or office.

Affordable Wall Art is an easy way to add a pop of colour to your home and can transform a room. Using similar colours above, our stylists have mixed geometric designs with a little street art using the Marilyn print and Spring has definitely sprung with the Wild Flowers wall art.

Spring doesn’t have to stop with your walls, introducing the geomtric trend and soft colours into your home furnishings also gives a point of interest and can make a feature in any room or office. Our stylists especially loved the Architecture design in the above Georgian Terrace Cushion a great addition for any design-junkie looking for something a little different.

If you’re looking for a bigger feature for your living space, our upcycled coffee tables are a great way to add character to any room.  Made in the UK, the above coffee table is made from reclaimed timber board and sits on a base of polished copper pipe. Add some bright coloured coasters and unique mugs for a brighter Spring feel.
